Protect Golden Gate Park – Demand Oversight
We believe our parks should remain open and accessible to everyone.
In recent years, Golden Gate Park has been closed off from the public to host private, pay-to-enter concerts. Who decided that our parks should be turned into private venues for profit?
These closures impact our open space, accessibility, and wildlife.
Save SF Parks was created to push back against this growing privatization and to demand an independent study of the impacts of these closures on residents, businesses, and the natural environment.

“San Francisco’s parks have always been free and open — our public dollars maintain these spaces, and they should remain accessible to everyone. Fencing them off for private use undermines their purpose and our shared public life.”
